Today was something

I went over to his house, no one else was home and I don’t know what we were doing but we fed each other these fruit covered chocolate and finished the rest of the box of cookies that was left, while singing along to each jazz song that was playing in the background. Then we started making silly jokes and whatnot and then he kissed me and we were cuddling and then he literally carried me upstairs, all the way to his bedroom and I felt like a princess or something. He showed me his double violin case which was pretty cool. Double violin cases are really awesome, you know that? And then he realized it was almost time when his mother was going to come home so we grabbed our jackets and we “ran away.” We took the longer path because we didn’t want to bump into his mother because that would’ve been very, very awkward. Well, it was pouring rain but we managed to get ourselves through the mall and we took the skytrain to the music store where I bought myself a copy of Poulenc’s O Magnum Mysterium, because I’ve been dying to sing it. After, we went to the library where we talked about books and also borrowed some, aahah. Then we headed back home, singing Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong’s version of Cheek to Cheek. It was still raining while walking back and then he kissed me goodbye. He made me feel beautiful again. And when I came home he left me a message saying:

You ARE beautiful.
Thank you for an amazing day. I really enjoyed it. I really do hope that we get to do this more.
And the times I spend with you are truly special.
Carpe Diem, even if it rains; because the rain sets a romantic mood
and triggers the urge to hold you tight

It was an afternoon well spent.
